Medical Services

A comprehensive Health Care Program is offered to all residents at Good Shepherd Manor. It's with the support and involvement of our wonderful donors and families that we are able to continue advancing our care to support the men's changing needs. They are essential to the funding, guidance, care and involvement that goes into everything we do for the men.

A 7,000 square foot single level infirmary was opened in July of 2004 to better meet the changing needs and more chronic health conditions of the residents as they age. The McAllister Infirmary includes six monitored patient beds, two medical isolation rooms, three fully equipped medical exam rooms and a large physical therapy room. Nursing staff is available twenty-four hours a day and the medical director, podiatrist, psychiatrist and other specialists provide services on a regular basis.
